Pradesh Repoussé Silver Paisley Necklace

A gorgeous Pradesh India silver necklace with repoussé paisley links. The repoussé jewelry making technique gives this piece its three-dimensional quality. The paisley-linked chain supports an egg-shaped pendant, engraved with leaves on one side and flowers on the other. Short segments of chain and tiny dangles hang from each link and the pendant. The pendant and the paisleys are hollow, one paisley is slightly smooshed. This necklace is finished with a decorative hook and eye clasp. Circa 1960.

Details.....The necklace is 21" long. The central piece measures 1.86" by 2.09". The paisleys measure 0.64" by 1.15". In Very Good Vintage Condition, with one smooshed paisley. Small imperfections are to be expected and are considered part of the charm.
