Vivid Violet Sapphire & Diamond Flower Cluster Ring

A precious English flower ring, set with a distinct violet sapphire. The vibrant .35ct gem is ringed in diamond "petals;" the eight diamonds have a .20tcw. The sapphire is center-set in a yellow gold bezel, the diamonds are set in a halo of frosty engraved platinum. The body of the 18ct yellow gold ring has a scalloped low-profile gallery, pinched shoulders, and a slim band, giving the practical piece a delicate appearance. The interior of the band bears the maker's mark, "A.H&S," and is stamped "18ct Plat." Circa 1890.

Details.....Currently a size 7.5. The top of the ring measures 9mm in diameter, and the band is 1.3mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
