Pretty in Pink Mexican Alpaca Silver Hinged Bracelet

Wildly bright pink with glossy abalone rectangles inlaid in this Alpaca silver hinged bracelet. There is something so fun and free about this dainty yet bold bracelet. The delicate band has a hinged opening and closes with an integrated notch and bar clasp. The inside is stamped "Alpaca Mexico." This bracelet is perfect for flowing fabrics and hot summer days. Circa 1970. 

Alpaca Silver, a copper alloy containing nickel and zinc, has a long history and was quite popular among artisan jewelers.  

Details... The decorative top measures 2.12" by 0.34", the slim band is 0.10" wide, and the hinged opening is 1.67" across. The inner dimensions are roughly 2.20" wide and 1.77" deep, with an approximate inner circumference of just under 6.5". In Very Good Vintage Condition.
