This exquisite Belle Époque diamond engagement ring is a thing dreams are made of. A splendid 1.08ct old European cut diamond is center set; the sparkling VS2 clarity, F-G color stone is raised slightly in a platinum bezel. The body of the ring is a vision of lacy metalwork. Icy platinum is layered over rich 18k gold, then pierced and engraved with a delicate foliate motif. Forty-two tiny rose and single cut accent diamonds frost the surface of the ring with a glittering rime. So lovely, and ever so rare, this magnificent ring will take your breath away. Circa 1900.
