Ravishing Retro Flora Brooch & Earring Set by Forstner

Ravishing Retro flora motif tri-tone brooch and earring set, signed Forstner. The brooch is a bodacious blossom with 10k rose and yellow gold petals flaring around a diamond pistil and opal stamen. Curling platinum leaves are encrusted with eight bright little diamonds. The flower's rosy stem twines around a golden vine. Each earring is a spray of rose and yellow gold leaves studded with a cabochon-cut opal. The brooch fastens with a rollover clasp and the earrings are screwbacks. Exquisitely crafted and highly collectible, this charming set has it all. Circa 1940.

This brooch and earring set comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value for both pieces is $3200.

Gemstone Details.....The brooch is set with nine round brilliant full cut diamonds with .40tcw, VS1-2 clarity, and G-H-I color range, and with five round, white opals with 1.15tcw. The earrings are set with two round, white opals with .46tcw.

Details.....The brooch measures 1.30" by 2.47", the earrings measure 1.15" by 1.05".  In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it a part of their charm.
