Regal Oval Amethyst Ring in Gold

This ring features a glorious giant, oval, purple Amethyst in its original mid 1800's cut back collet setting. I found this lovely thing years ago with only its bezel. Our talented Goldsmiths created a ring base so it could have a new life. I wanted to let the regal purple gem and fab original bezel be the focus of this piece and so designed a simple yet structured ring to hold it. Raising the stone above a wrapped base with circles at each of the four directions, this lovingly hand crafted setting allows light to stream thru the gem. So good.

The ring base for this beautiful original Amethyst setting was hand crafted with love using age old techniques in our own in house studio. All the 14k yellow gold used in this ring, and every thing we make, is recycled. Love the Planet Love yourself.

Details.....The ring is currently a size 5, we will size it once for free. The top measures 24.3mm x 17.7mm, the shoulder measures 10.6mm.
