Retro Engagement Ring with Unexpected Details

There is something special about this classic Retro engagement ring. The center stone is a 0.25ct round diamond with a slightly warm glitter that really catches the light. That diamond is set in a square white gold head with fancy fluted prongs. The white gold shoulders are engraved with a pretty scalloped pattern and each side is set with two accent diamonds. The 18k white gold top is set over the 18k yellow gold body of the ring. The two tone metal looks luxurious and is very versatile. This is a good one, timeless with unexpected details. Circa 1940.
