Reverse Painted Crystal Chrysanthemum Charm

Most people, especially jewelry lovers, know about birthstones, but did you know you also have a birth flower? The chrysanthemum is November's birth flower, likely because they bloom in late Autumn. A crystal is set in this Art Deco era pendant, reverse painted with a single chrysanthemum and the legend "November Chrysanthemum." The blossom has been carved into the crystal dome and then painted with a fresh pink color and bright green leaves. The 14k gold pendant holds the crystal in a bezel with a twisted gold frame. A jump ring has been added to the bale. A darling sentimental charm and a thoughtful gift for the mother of a November baby. Circa 1920.
