Tranquil Green Turquoise in Long Sterling Overlay Ring

A tranquil mint green turquoise is displayed in this sterling silver ring. The turquoise sits in a hand cut bezel at the center of a long, flat silver plaque. A border of scalloped overlay frames the stone. Overlay creates a shadow box effect when a carved layer of polished silver is applied over a layer of oxidized silver. Twisted silver wire detail adds texture. The decorative top sits above split shoulders and a half round band. The turquoise is cracked, yet the stone retains its beauty. The ring is stable and wearable, with fun full finger coverage. Circa 1970.
