Rose Cut Diamonds in Silver & 18ct Gold Flower Ring
A very early version of the popular English diamond cluster flower rings. Seven glittering rose cut diamonds are set in silver scallops, like daisy petals. The diamonds are set in silver because the ring predates the use of platinum in jewelry. The diamond-set silver is layered over the buttery 18ct yellow gold ring. A very low profile and pinched shoulders enhance the ring's dainty quality. Pluck this pretty blossom for your sweetheart. Circa 1870.
Details.....Currently a size 8.5. The top of the ring measures 7.8mm in diameter, and the band measures 1.8mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
