Arts & Crafts Ruby Conversion Pendant
The geometry of this ruby pendant displays an Arts & Crafts design sensibility. Parallel lines meet gentle curves to create a 14k yellow gold pendant; its shape reminiscent of a lyre. A square ruby is set on point at its heart and a tiny round diamond sparkles at its top. This is a conversion jewel; originally a stick pin, it has been re-purposed into a pendant. The pendant hangs on a modern recycled 14k yellow gold rope chain, and a jump ring has been added for versatility. A lovely gift for your favorite July baby. Circa 1910.
