A moody midnight blue sapphire solitaire ring with subtle, sophisticated details. The 0.66ct round sapphire is set in an eight-prong platinum crown head over platinum cathedral shoulders. The platinum sits over a sleek 18ct yellow gold knife edge band. Little gold circles nestle beneath the cathedral shoulders, a lovely detail only visible in profile. A wide variety of wedding bands will pair beautifully with this elegant ring, it will make a wonderful engagement ring for a lover of colored gemstones. Circa 1930.

The band tapers from 2mm at the shoulder to 1.2mm at the back of the band. Very Good Vintage Condition.
