This decadent rhinestone brooch is signed for Sarah Coventry. Blue rhinestones are set in the teardrop-shaped brooch; lovely construction, each stone is prong-set in silver-tone costume metal. Small round light and dark blue stones are framed in fierce marquise-cut crystals with an iridescent Aurora Borealis finish that flares with shades of purple and teal. Marked on the back, "Sarah Cov." It looks, to me, like a peacock's feather. What do you see? Circa 1960.

Sarah Coventry was founded in 1949 by Charles H. Stuart. The company was named for Stuart's granddaughter, Sarah.

Details: The brooch measures 2.67" tall by 1.75" wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
