Scarlet Ruby & Sparkling Diamond Engraved Victorian Ring

This Victorian gemstone ring is vibrant and voluptuous, with scarlet ruby and sparkling diamonds displayed in sculpted gold. The .40ct cushion cut ruby has a gorgeous deep color, much more red than ruby's usual pink hues. Two funky old mine-cut diamonds flank the gem, holding their own with a total weight of .50 carats. The 14k gold band is engraved with a lush, scrolled design like opulent ostrich feathers. A softly tapering shank completes the piece, and a low profile and buttery band make this ring as comfortable to wear as it is pleasurable to gaze upon. Circa 1890.

Details..... Currently a size 7.75. The top of the ring measures 19mm by 7.9mm, and the band is 2.8mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of its charm.
