A gorgeous Mid Century Modern torc necklace signed CORO. The glossy sterling silver torc lays along the collar bone with flared terminals that curl delicately over the sides of the neck. This piece has exquisite, sensual lines and a convex curve that plays with the light. Marked on the underside of the terminals "925 Sterling" and "Mexico CORO." Circa 1960.

In 1943, during wartime metal shortages in the US, Mexican silversmith Hector Aguilar secured a contract with American Costume Jewelry Maker CORO to design and make handmade silver pieces. Aguilar's work for CORO is gorgeous and highly collectible.

Details.....The front of the torc measures 0.50" wide, and it has an approximate circumference of 13". It weighs 1.9oz. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of their charm.
