A wonderful amethyst brooch in the Arts & Crafts style. The oval gem is bezel set in a sterling silver frame that is embellished with scrollwork and beading. The amethyst is Siberian with the signature fingerprint inclusions (visible under magnification) that these amethysts are known for. The brooch has a thoughtfully designed architectural feel. Circa 1910.
