Sleeping Beauty Turquoise Modernist Statement Ring

A Modernist sterling silver statement ring, set with exquisite Sleeping Beauty turquoise. The ring's rectangular top consists of a curved silver panel set over a flat panel. A turquoise rectangle, cut with a convex face, is bezel-set in the curved panel; the stone is framed by an oxidized shadowbox, a silver ridge, and a flattened edge. The tranquil, pale blue turquoise is emphasized by the deep, dark border, it's a dramatic look, breathtaking in color with clean, elegant lines. Circa 1960.
