This slim 14k gold wedding band has a half round exterior with flat sides and interior. It's a simple ring without a lot of bells and whistles, but the flat edges give it a profile that will work quite nicely in a stack. The ring's interior is marked "14k" and signed for Woods & Sons. Circa 1920.
J. R. Wood & Sons was founded in 1850 in Trenton, New Jersey. The J. R. Wood & Sons' 1919 catalog describes the company as "diamond cutters, wedding ring makers, and manufacturers of fine gold and platinum jewelry."
