Henry and Yvette Bogoff founded Jewels by Bogoff in 1940, producing very high-quality costume jewelry until they closed in the early 1960s. Henry was responsible for the designs of original creations and the replicas of high-end jewelry, while Yvette was one of the first women to head a major sales organization.
