St. Christopher Medal with Roadster on Reverse

An interesting vintage St. Christopher medal. On one side we see St. Christopher carrying the baby Jesus across a river, modeled in sterling silver. The image is deeply worn, it's easy to imagine a previous owner rubbing the medal for comfort. The medal's reverse is sculpted in bas relief with a motorist riding in a vintage roadster (I think). A silver jump ring has been added to the charm's bale for versatility and ease of wear. Circa 1950.

Saint Christopher is the patron saint of travelers. He is also believed to protect people from epilepsy, lightning, storms, pestilence, and floods.

Details.....The medal measures .83" in diameter, 1" with bale. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; it is part of the charm.
