Star-Light Star-Bright 18ct Gold and Diamond Ring

A beautiful signet-style ring in luxurious 18ct yellow gold. The central square plaque appears to float above the wide shoulders that then taper gently towards the back of the band. Showcased beautifully in a classically Victorian style sits a .10ct chunky old mine cut Diamond in a brilliant eight pointed star. This ring's rich history is written in the hallmarks stamped inside, telling us that the caratage was assayed (tested) in Birmingham, England, between 1853-54. 

Details.....Currently a size 6.75. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible for a fee. The ring measures 8.1mm wide at the front and 4mm wide at the back of the band. In Very Good Antique Condition. Some wear is to be expected on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it to be part of their charm.
