Scottish pebble earrings are rare. This lovely pair is set with all manner of agate in intricately engraved silver. Even the ear wires are fabulous with the big silver ball top. Traditional Scottish "pebble" Jewelry became all the rage after Queen Victoria came home from her honeymoon in Scotland wearing it. Circa 1880.
Details.....The earrings have a 1.63" drop from the ear, and the earrings measure .74"across. They are in very good condition. You should always expect some wear on your antique and vintage jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
