This art glass ring is an unexpected Art Nouveau treasure. An oval glass cabochon is bezel-set on a rectangular plaque of bright 10k gold. The plaque's corners curl around the gem in a fetching fashion. This striking decorative element sits atop elegantly flared shoulders. The art glass is fascinating, it resembles a fire opal that is spotted like a picture agate. Circa 1890.
Details.....Currently a size 6.25. The top of the ring measures 15mm by 17.3mm, the band is 2mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
