Stunning Madeira Citrine & Diamond Necklace

A stunning Madeira citrine is crowned with diamonds in this spellbinding vintage necklace. The pear-shaped faceted gem is generous in size, 6.95cts to be precise. It is suspended on a diamond-set hinged bale, with a cluster of small round stones and a baguette drop. The gems are all set in platinum layered over a rich 18k yellow gold basket. Just magnificent. The pendant hangs on a complimentary platinum paperclip link chain. Circa 1970.

This necklace comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $4550.

Gemstone Details.....The 6.95ct Madiera citrine is a pear-shaped faceted cut; eye-clean and transparent, with Medium dark, Very Slightly Brownish, reddish Orange (rO 6/3) color. Twelve round single cut diamonds have a .20tcw, with VVS 1-2 clarity and G-H-I color. Two diamond baguettes have a .07tcw, with VVS 1-2 clarity and F-G color.

Details.....The pendant measures .43" by 1.50", the citrine is 10.5mm by 21mm. The chain is 18" long. In Excellent Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
