Stunning Turquoise in Ornate Mexican Sterling Pendant

Stunning blue turquoise is the star of this ornate Mexican pendant. The turquoise is an outstanding shade of blue, framed in matrix; the stone resembles a tropical lagoon hidden within volcanic atolls. Displayed in a hand cut, scalloped bezel within twisted wire detail and an asymmetric frame of curling overlay and beading. Polished high points and oxidized low points create contrast and depth. The pendant has an integrated tube bale, it hangs on a sterling silver cable chain. Stamped on the back with the Mexican Eagle mark indicating sterling silver. Circa 1960.

Details.....The chain is 20" long, and the pendant measures 1.04" by 1.21". In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
