Stylized Snakes Sterling & Vermeil Collar by TANE

A fabulous sterling silver collar with a stylized snake motif from TANE. Each link is a twist of heavy silver wire with a flattened end that resembles a snake's head. The snake twines around itself and lifts its head to peer out at you. A kiss of golden vermeil bestows a luxe glow upon each snake's head. This dramatic piece is highly structured, with a substantial weight. The vermeil folding clasp is signed "TANE" and fastens on a link marked "Tane MT-01 MEX 925." Beautifully constructed and effortlessly chic, just what we expect from TANE. Circa 1970.
