Sublime Blue-Green Turquoise in Silver Statement Ring

Three turquoise stones of a sublime blue-green hue grace this Southwestern statement ring. The stones are set vertically down the middle of a long, flat plaque of scalloped silver. The plaque's edge is decorated with a curlicue overlay pattern, in which a carved layer of polished silver is applied to a layer of oxidized silver creating a shadow box effect of contrasting light and dark. Each turquoise sits in a crimped bezel framed in twisted silver wire. The silver plaque sits atop a split-shouldered band that tapers into a slender half-round band. An attention-demanding ring in a popular large size. Circa 1960.

Details.....Currently a size 9. The top of the ring measures .92" by 2.62", and the band is 2.5mm wide. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on your vintage and antique jewels; we consider it a part of their charm.
