A superb example of the classic Navajo silver bead necklace. The sterling silver, two-part construction beads are more UFO-shaped, like joined domes with a central ridge. The graduated beads are strung on a supple silver chain. A gorgeous green turquoise set in the hook and eye clasp takes it right over the top. This piece bears a silver tag stamped with the maker's mark "YH," research suggests the artist's name may be Sarah Dickens. With a wonderful weight and the glossy patina that only time can impart, this necklace is irresistible. Circa 1980.
Details.....The necklace is 18.5" long. The beads graduate from .28" to .67" in diameter. In Very Good Vintage Condition. Small imperfections are to be expected and are considered part of the charm.
