The 19th Century Sapphire and Chunky Diamond Halo Ring

A gorgeous ethereal oval sapphire is surrounded by wonderfully chunky old diamonds. The G/H Diamonds are white and twinkly in that fabulous way of antique diamonds. The band has grooved shoulders and a smooth wide band, the stones are all set in sturdy individual cups and the setting is nice and heavy. This would make a unique and lovely engagement ring. Circa 1890.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $2050.

Gemstone Details.....The Oval Sapphire is .66ct, violetish blue. There are 10 oec and omc diamonds with a total weight of .70cts.

Details.....Currently a size 6.25. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. Please contact us if you need this ring sized more than two sizes, it may be possible and will have a small fee. The ring measures 13.2mm x 11mm at the diamond and sapphire set top. It measures 4.3mm at the shoulder and 3.2mm at the band. Very Good Antique Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels, we consider it part of the charm.
