I love to mix metals and textures. The discovery of just the right split ring or hook can inspire an entire piece. When I found this Gold Georgian hook in the form of a dogs head I knew I wanted it to be the focal point of the necklace as well as the clasp. So I used a simple vintage sterling chain and created a necklace that can be worn long with the hook to the side or doubled into a shorter necklace with the hook in the front.
Eras: The pieces in this necklace date from 1820 to 1920.
Materials: Sterling Silver and 14k Gold.
Measurements: 33" long, the hook measures 1.35" x .45".
Each item from this line of Jewelry is unique and incorporates re-purposed Vintage and Antique pieces, small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of their charm.
