The Old Rope Chain Sliding T-bar and Hook Necklace

I've been really loving the layering of chains. I needed some short ones to go with my long ones, so I thought you might want some as well. This sweet 14k hand woven rope chain from the late 1800's has a 14k gold sliding dangle of t-bar and hook, just the right length and beautiful old gold.

Watch hook necklaces are the perfect, versatile addition to your jewelry wardrobe, ready for you to add a pendant, fob, locket, or charm. The ingredients in this chain date circa 1880-90.

This line of jewelry is all about my two favourite things. The art of adornment and the art of Re-purposing. Using pieces that are no longer viable in their original configurations, I take them apart and create fresh wearable pieces of jewelry.

Details.....The chain is 16" long, the t-bar and the watch hook have a 1.5" hang, and the spring ring clasp is 10.5mm across.

Small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of the design.
