The Paved Rectangle of Sapphires and Diamonds Ring

Pretty natural cornflower blue sapphires are set every other alternating with little round white diamonds in a paved rectangle of 18k yellow gold. The simplest details have created such a gorgeous ring, with the top curving in a perfect arc to hug your finger. There are approx. .65cts of sapphires and .25cts of diamonds. The inside of the band has traces of English hallmarks, Chester, 18, the rest too worn to make out clearly, a circa date of 1900 is likely. The star like facets on the Sapphires are worth noticing, so adorable.
