Pyrite is so sparkly and fun, even the staid Victorians loved it. This pendant has pyrite nestled in four round rose gold settings. It is suspended from rose gold filled chain and the clasp is antique rose gold push barrel style. The ingredients in this piece date from circa 1870 to 1890.
This line of jewelry is all about my two favourite things. The art of adornment and the art of Re-purposing. Using pieces that are no longer viable in their original configurations, I take them apart and create fresh wearable pieces of jewelry.
Details.....The chain is 22" long. The pendant measures 31.3mm by 24.8mm. In Very Good Antique Condition. Small imperfections are to be expected and considered part of the charm.
