This fantastic Victorian swivel locket fob has it all. The gold filled fob is double-sided, one side is set with a curved slab of caramel-colored agate, the other with a curved slab of black onyx. It spins freely in a Chinoiserie frame, perfect for fidgeting with. Chinoiserie refers to an aesthetic movement in which Chinese art and design exerted a strong influence on the Western world. The hinged fob splits down the middle to reveal a double-sided locket. The interior of the locket is in very nice, clean condition with intact glass and frames. A very handsome and unusual piece. This locket will look great on your swivel hook chain, a large attached ring makes it easy to wear any way you like. Circa 1880.
