Fresh from London, this latest batch of English beauties features antique diamond and gemstone bands in high karat gold. These luxurious and very wearable rings are perfect for any occasion you find yourself craving color and sparkle.

The "Mizpah" motif was popular during the sentimental Victorian period. "Mizpah" is a Hebrew word that means "watchtower", and is loosely interpreted to mean "May God watch over you". The sentiment has come to represent the bond between two people, a token of love and connection even though the two may be physically apart.

This antique English ring is a particularly romantic version of the style. The 18ct gold band bears the word "Mizpah", broken between the syllables by two hearts, all modeled in relief. The hearts are each embellished with a star-set diamond. The gently tapered band has an engraved edge and a flat shank. This ring bears the hallmarks for England, Birmingham, 18ct, and 1881-82.

Details.....Currently a size 6. This ring may be sized up or down two sizes free of charge. The band measures 6.5mm wide at the front and tapers to 3.8mm at the back. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
