Two stalks of wheat are represented in this glittering nosegay brooch by Kramer. Delicate silver-tone leaves curl around clear, marquis-cut rhinestone kernels. A long rollover pin fastens the piece. Signed "Kramer" on the back. The perfect accent to a formal gown or tuxedo. Circa 1960.
Kramer of New York was founded by Louis Kramer in 1943, and the business produced beautiful, high-quality costume jewelry until sometime around 1980. Kramer was chosen to be Christian Dior's US manufacturer in the 1950s.
