Uniquely Beautiful Solitaire Engagement Ring

I am fascinated by the cut of this diamond. In the early 20th century diamond cutters were experimenting with different proportions facet patterns and table sizes, this diamond is a lovely example of that time of transition in diamond cuts. The quality of this diamond is shown nicely with the extra large and low table and the really pretty crown facets. The design of the setting plays into the unique faceting of the diamond as well. An undulating ruffle in white gold sits in the yellow gold setting and holds the diamond. The polished white gold curves throw light into the diamond increasing the already fabulous sparkle. Circa 1930, 14k gold.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $5100.

Details.....Currently a size 7.5. The ring's head measures 9.2mm in diameter and the band is on 2.5mm. In Very Good Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique jewels; we consider it part of the charm.
