Very Long Victorian Rope Chain by Ancient Influences

A very long and versatile Victorian twisted rope chain necklace. This length of buttery yellow gold filled chain is finished with a spring ring at one end and a swivel watch hook at the other. The double clasps allow you to wear the chain long, doubled or possibly tripled up and the hook is perfect for displaying all of your favorite bits & bobs, lockets & fobs in a variety of creative ways. The ingredients date from circa 1890.

I love using vintage findings, it's always thrilling to discover just the right split ring or hook for a piece. Small imperfections are to be expected in vintage and antique and are considered part of their charm.

Details.....The chain is 48" long. The chain measure 1.8mm wide. The swivel hook measures 21.5mm long and the bolt measures 8.7mm wide.
