As a teenager, my sister and I treated this kind of ring like a currency. A vibrant malachite cabochon sits in a dainty sterling silver ring. A twisted bezel frames the green striped stone and applied silver details embellish the open shoulders. The band's interior bears some kind of bird or animal head maker's mark. Wear it to see Jane's Addiction at The Palladium or while riding The Santa Monica Pier carousel. Circa 1980.
