These are so pretty. Set with Old Mine Cut diamonds with Rose cut diamond accents, they have a 3 dimensional quality to their design. The diamonds are collet set with pie crust edges. They were nicely converted from their original wire backs to posts, they hang beautifully from the ear. There are a total of 24 diamonds with a total carat weight of 2.53.
These earrings have an appraisal from an Independent Gem Lab, the insurance replacement value is $6500.00
Materials: Diamonds set in Silver on gold.
Measurements: 21mm x 12mm with a .84" drop from the ear.
Era: Mid 19th century.
Condition: Excellent with light wear in keeping with its age. The original wires were converted to posts and are very well done.
