Victorian Moulded Glass "Cameo" Necklace

This late Victorian pendant features a cameo-like jewel moulded in carnelian-colored glass. A handsome soldier is depicted wearing a war helmet with long, wind swept locks. The glass is set in a decorative gold filled frame with an integrated bale. This pendant comes on a modern gold filled chain, but we also think it would look spectacular worn on a ribbon or one of our Ancient Influences married chains. Circa 1890. 

Description.....The pendant measures 0.90" by 1.23". The modern gold filled chain is 18.5" long. In Good vintage condition. The gold filled frame has visible wear. You should always expect some wear on Vintage and Antique jewels we consider it a part pf their charm.
