Victorian Old Mine Cut Diamond Floral Solitaire Ring

A romantic Victorian engagement ring with an old mine cut diamond framed in rosy 14k gold petals. The gorgeous .39ct stone has an SI clarity and L color, with a chunky crown, open culet, and brilliant sparkle. It is displayed in the classic buttercup style, held by six prongs within a fluted, petal-like head. Flared shoulders are deeply engraved with a floral motif. This decorative element tapers into a slim band. The interior of the band is engraved with the initials "AU." This ring has so much charm and character, and it's a generous, 21st Century person's size. Circa 1880.

Details.....Currently a size 8.5. The top of the ring measures 17.4mm by 9.1mm, and the band is 1.7mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition. You should expect all vintage and antique jewels to show some wear; we consider it part of their charm.
