Victorians loved their accoutrements to be both pretty and practical. Case in point: this exquisitely engraved gold filled pendant conceals a retractable toothpick. The top of the toothpick's case has a bale so this delightful dental implement may be worn as a pendant. It also looks like you might be able to pick a lock with it, but you didn't hear that from us. Circa 1880.
