During the Victorian Era this popular style of wide, thin, decorated band was referred to as a "Cigar Band." Very thin and rather wide, these rings resemble the paper bands that were& wrapped around cigars. This fabulous Cigar Band is a Victorian Revival piece dating to the mid 20th Century. In exquisite rosy 14k gold. The ring is encircled with a Greek meander,& interrupted by engraved oak leaves and a buckle. This design stands bright and shiny against a background of matte textured gold. Its prominent edges are embellished with milgrain detail. A lovely application of Classical motifs. Circa 1960.

Details.....This ring is a size 6. It cannot be sized. The band measures 8.1mm wide. Please remember that a band this wide will fit tighter on the finger. In Excellent Vintage Condition. You should always expect some wear on vintage and antique pieces, we consider it part of the charm.
