In The Victorian Era, it was popular to save your hair and have it woven into a piece of jewelry for one of your loved ones. Some Women wove it themselves, but there were also specialty Jewelers who would weave the hair for you and mount it in elaborate designs. This necklace consists of all brunet human hair with gold filled appointments. They would insert spring-like wires inside the puffy pieces to hold the sides in position. This piece is all original and in wearable condition.
