Vintage Emerald and Platinum Engagement Ring

This beautiful Emerald is a gorgeous green, every time you look at it you will be reminded of the promise of spring. The Emerald is set in trefoil prongs and the shoulders are set with square diamonds. The band has a softened knife edge with polished detail next to the accent diamonds. Emerald  has been considered "A stone of successful love" throughout history, encouraging domestic bliss, and therefore has been a popular gem for engagement rings. Circa 1940, Platinum, Natural Emerald, Diamonds, all vintage all fabulous.

This ring comes with an insurance replacement cost appraisal. The appraisal is done by an independent gem lab. The appraised value is $2250.

Gemstone Details.....The Natural Emerald is .88cts, Emerald Step Cut, M2-G 4/4 Moderately strong green. There are 2 square step cut accent diamonds VS G/H with a total weight of .09cts.

If you need the ring sized further than the 2 size parameter please contact us, depending on the ring it may be possible for a fee. The ring measures 6.4mm wide at the Emerald. and 2.4mm at the band.
