This elegant brooch dates from the Edwardian era circa 1915 and is hallmarked with the French mark for Platinum. The front is covered with diamonds and open work details decorate the sides. The brooch has a trombone clasp closure, this type of clasp is 1st seen in the mid 1800's. This type of clasp assures not only the safety of your brooch but doesn't catch or snag fine fabrics.

This brooch comes with an appraisal from an independent gem lab. The insurance replacement value is $4525. There are 25 diamonds set in the brooch. The total diamond weight is 1.63cts. The diamonds are all color matched H/I white and sparkling. The metal is Platinum.

Details.....The brooch measures 2.7" long and .16" wide at the middle. In very good Vintage condition.You should expect some wear on all vintage and antique jewels.
