Love Birds. A pair of kissing birds sits on a branch the birds are set with Carnelian and Chrysoprase scarabs. In the late 1940's early 1950's post WWII economies were trying to grow again, people were optimistic but jewelry production had been highly limited due to the war. And so they used what was to hand to set in the new styles of jewels and that's how these love birds are set with 1930's scarabs. Gold filled and whimsical.
