This signed Matisse set is enameled in white. It is an abstract geometric design which is very attractive. The earrings are clip back.
From the late 1940's to the mid-1960's Copper jewels were all the rage. From designer firms, Renoir and Matisse, to unsigned small studio artist pieces this trend produced fabulous wearable art. The colors of the enamels and the interesting designs make these pieces sought after collectibles.
Measurements: Necklace, adjustable length from 14" to 17.5" and .62" wide. Earrings, 1.02" x .62"

Condition: Very Good Vintage Condition, a very tiny enamel flake on one earring.
