Vintage Matisse Teal Enamel on copper Leaf Pin and Earring Set
This signed Matisse set is enameled in a lovely teal color. It is a leaf-shaped brooch and matching earrings. The earrings are clip back.
From the late 1940's to the mid-1960's Copper jewels were all the rage. From designer firms, Renoir and Matisse, to unsigned small studio artist pieces this trend produced fabulous wearable art. The colors of the enamels and the interesting designs make these pieces sought after collectibles.
